PVSB to present Instrument at Holiday Concert

The Palos Verdes Symphonic Band and Rheuben Allen have joined together to help promote music in the school and provide a chance for an underprivileged child to get a chance to play a band instrument. The band is holding a contest to provide a child with a musical instrument and give him or her an opportunity to play in their local school program.

Who is Eligible?

Needy and deserving kids 8 to 11 years old.

Which instruments are available?

Flute, clarinet and trumpet

How do the children get selected?

Eligible children or teachers of eligible students can request an application by email at pvsb.contest@gmail.com.

When and Where will the Instrument be Presented?

At the band's 2014 Holiday Concert.
