PVSB Annual Holiday Concert December 7, 2014

Come celebrate the season with the Palos Verdes Symphonic Band, which will present its annual Holiday Concert on Sunday, December 7th at 5:00 PM in the Frances Young Hall at the South Coast Botanic Garden, 26300 Crenshaw Boulevard, in the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

The Palos Verdes Symphonic Band, under the direction of David Stanton, consists of 60 local musicians dedicated since 1962 to bringing the very best in concert band music to the South Bay community. The program consists of traditional winter, Christmas, and Hanukkah favorites. The band will feature a quartet of Lisa Eden, soprano, Melissa Treinkman, mezzo-soprano, Orson Van Gay II, tenor, and Ryan Reithmeier, bass-baritone,  and will also spotlight the Hollywood Clarinet Quartet of Rheuben Allen, David Stanton, Mike Vaccaro, and Greg Huckins performing seasonal classics arranged by Dan Higgins.

Tickets are only $9 each, with free admission for children 12 years of age and under, and are available at the Botanic Garden just prior to concert time. This early evening of holiday classics will be sure to get you in the holiday mood! For more information, you may call the band at 310-792-8286.
