7/6 Dress Rehearsal

Great job everyone for putting together a wonderful Fourth of July concert! Up next… preparing for our concert this Saturday for the City of Rolling Hills Estates. Thank you for your time and dedication during what is probably the busiest week of the year for our ensemble.

We will be having a (short) dress rehearsal this Wednesday from 7:30-8:30pm at RUMC, mainly to run through some pieces with a different conductor and review some slight changes to the program. We will be using almost the same program for the July 9th concert, as well as adding the following:

  • Captain America March

  • The Liberty Bell

  • West Side Story Selection

There will also be a couple July 4th pieces taken out, and some alterations to the order (still working out the specifics). If the FRM ensemble could stick around a little bit after 8:30, we can also spot check some of that music.

Saturday 7/9 – 4-6pm – July 9th Performance @ Ernie Howlett Park – Downbeat: 3pm
Sunday 9/4 – 3pm – Labor Day Weekend Concert (tentative)
