The Palos Verdes Symphonic Band

PVSB is a community ensemble based in the Palos Verdes Peninsula area of Southern California. We perform regularly and are welcoming new members.

From soaring melodies and powerful moments to delicate passages that seem to float among the clouds, Palos Verdes Symphonic Band invites you to leave the everyday behind and let the music carry you somewhere extraordinary. The concert will take place on Sunday, October 11th, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at The Salvation Army Torrance Corps (4223 Emerald St, Torrance, CA 90503). Admission is free.

Join PVSB!

Now is a great time to join the band! We are starting back up with rehearsals on January 21st at 7:15pm at Riviera United Methodist Church. You can look forward to performing with us some time in March or April.

The Band

The PVSB consists of musicians of all ages and professions across the South Bay community, including including music teachers, engineers, physicians, homemakers, and students, as well as both amateur and professional instrumentalists.
